Rat Vascular Endothelial cell Growth Factor,VEGF ELISA Kit
Product Details
Description
The Rat Vascular Endothelial cell Growth Factor (VEGF) ELISA Kit quantitates VEGF levels in rat serum, plasma, or tissue homogenates. VEGF is a key regulator of endothelial cell proliferation and migration and vascular permeability. As a potent pro-angiogenic factor, VEGF is capable of inducing physiological and pathological angiogenesis involved in the pathogenesis of cancerous tumors. VEGF signaling elicits key downstream signaling pathways including MAPK/ERK1/2, endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS), and mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR).
This kit employs the sandwich-ELISA mechanism in conjugation with VEGF antibody-VEGF antigen-specific binding as well as HRP-TMB chromogenic reaction to measure the concentration of VEGF in the samples. The kit is characterized by high sensitivity, strong specificity, good linearity, recovery with 90%-102%, precision less than 10%. Refer to the product instructions for more validation information.

Linearity
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples were spiked with high concentrations of rat VEGF in various matrices and diluted with the Sample Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.
