| Description |
A cDNA ORF corresponding to the peptide of Mouse Thrombospondin-1/Thbs1 was expressed with an N-terminal 6xHis-tag in E.coli. Thrombospondin-1/Thbs1 CSB-EP023487MO is a truncated molecule having amino acids of Asn19-Lys350. Its purity is greater than 90% as measured by SDS-PAGE. A molecular mass band of 41 about kDa was presented on the SDS-PAGE gel under reducing conditions. And in-stock Thbs1 proteins are available now. In addition to producing specific antibodies, this recombinant Thbs1 proteins may also be used on the studies of glioblastoma (GBM). Thbs1 is an important component of the extracellular matrix (ECM) that exerts a role in tumor development and metastasis. The expression level of Thbs1 is positively correlated with the glioma grades, that is, the more severe the glioma, the higher the expression level of Thbs1.
